  • Getting There
    Al Wasil Desert is roughly 3 to 4 hours’ drive from Muscat. A 4WD vehicle is recommended for reaching the camp, as some desert roads are sandy and rugged.

  • Best Time to Visit
    October to April offers cooler weather perfect for camping and outdoor activities.

  • What to Bring
    Warm layers for chilly nights
    Sun protection: hat, sunscreen, sunglasses
    Comfortable walking shoes and sandals
    Personal toiletries and medications

Sample Itinerary (Overnight)
